Zachary O’Mell Signs NAHL Tender Agreement
The NAPHL’s T1ER League is excited to announce the tender agreement signed between the Lone Star Brahmas of the NAHL and the Biggby Coffee AAA Hockey 18U defenseman Zachary O’Mell. The agreement will carry through the end of the 2026-27 season.
During the 2025-26 NAT1HL season, the Waterford, Michigan native continued to be a reliable piece of the defense for Biggby.
O’Mell has spent three seasons with Biggby and has improved from year to year on the offensive side of the puck in each season. This past season the 6-foot-1 defenseman recorded 5 points in 16 games including a goal and four assists.
The best offensive performance of the season from O’Mell came on Feb. 15 against Philadelphia Hockey Club. O’Mell recorded two assists in Biggby's 4-2 victory over Philadelphia.
Bishop is one of ten players from the Biggby Coffee AAA Hockey 18U team to sign a tender agreement with a NAHL team this season.

A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders, which include two (2) tenders exclusively used on players from the T1ER - plus or minus any trades - which became active on November 1st. Tendered players are not eligible for the 2026 NAHL Draft.
