Gavin Norwood Signs NAHL Tender Agreement
The NAPHL’s T1ER League is excited to announce the tender agreement signed between the St. Cloud Norsemen of the NAHL and the Biggby Coffee AAA Hockey 18U defenseman Gavin Norwood. The agreement will carry through the end of the 2026-27 season.
During the 2025-26 NAT1HL season, the Spring Arbor, Michigan native was a huge piece of the team’s defense and dominated the blueline with his 6-foot-2 frame and reach.
From Norwood’s first to his second season with the Biggby Coffee 18U team he showed significant improvement on the offensive side of the puck. The 2007 birth year doubled his point production from the first to the second season.
The best offensive performance of the season from Norwood came on Oct. 19 against the Omaha Mastery. Norwood recorded the primary assist on the game winning goal for Biggby Coffee.
Norwood is one of nine players from the Biggby Coffee AAA Hockey 18U team to sign a tender agreement with a NAHL team this season.

A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders, which include two (2) tenders exclusively used on players from the T1ER - plus or minus any trades - which became active on November 1st. Tendered players are not eligible for the 2026 NAHL Draft.
