CarShield AAA 18U forward Bates signs NAHL Tender
The NAPHL’s T1ER League is pleased to announce that CarShield 18U forward Brady Bates has signed a NAHL tender agreement for the 2025-26 season with the Wisconsin Windigo of the NAHL’s Midwest Division.
Bates, 17, is a longtime member of the CarShield organization and is currently skating in his fourth season in the T1ER League with the St. Louis based program. He has appeared in 50 games across the 14U through 18U levels and is now skating in his first season at the 18U level.
Currently sitting first overall in the standings, CarShield is enjoying an outstanding season after capturing last year’s Dixon Cup Championship, and Bates has played an instrumental role in the team’s offensive success. He currently leads CarShield in scoring and ranks third overall among all 18U skaters league-wide.
His best performance of the season came in November during the T1ER / T1EHL Invitational in Blaine, Minnesota. In a matchup against Fox Motors, Bates filled the scoresheet in an 8–3 victory, recording four points on two goals and two assists. The ‘08 forward made an impact in all situations, tallying one power play goal and adding a shorthanded assist.
He is one of nine players from CarShield’s 18U squad to sign an NAHL tender agreement for the upcoming season.

A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders, which include two (2) tenders exclusively used on players from the T1ER - plus or minus any trades - which became active on November 1st. Tendered players are not eligible for the 2026 NAHL Draft.
