Omaha 16U forward Thompson signs USHL tender

The Omaha AAA Hockey Club, proud members of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL), are please to announce that 16U forward Baron Thompson has signed a USHL Tender Agreement with the Dubuque Fighting Saints.
Thompson is a native of Lakeville, Minnesota played the last two seasons with the Omaha AAA Hockey Club.
This year, the 6'5/225 lbs. winger amassed 16 goals and 22 assists for 38 points in 81 games overall for the Omaha AAA 16U Team that was recently a Bronze Medalist at the USAH Tier 1 National Hockey Tournament and NAPHL Champions.
Thompson, 16, is known as a power forward with toughness and a scoring touch recently attended the USNTDP Player Evaluation Camp held in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Back in December, Thompson committed to play NCAA Division I hockey at the University of Maine in Hockey East.
In 20 NAPHL games this season, Thompson recorded 13 points. He also had two points in five games during the NAPHL Playoffs.
