Here is a look at the weekend action, team-by-team:

Bantam Tournament Series (BTS):  After winning their morning games, the San Jose Jr. Sharks and the Edge Mountaineers found themselves in the Championship game on Sunday afternoon.  San Jose won the round-robin game between the two, but in the Championship, it was the Edge that came away with the title.  Cody Cambell stopped all 20 shots in the 3-0 win and Connor Beebe had a goal and assist to lead the Edge in the title game.  Jake Bean finished as the Mountaineers leading scorer, while Nick Sefalu paced the Jr. Sharks.

Anaheim Jr. Ducks: The Ducks beat the San Jose Jr. Sharks 6-2 on Saturday as Max McLain had two goals and an assist.  However, perfection in San Jose eluded the Jr. Ducks as in their final game, Phoenix came from behind to beat Anaheim 2-1.  McLain added an assist on the lone goal and finished the event with 7 points in 4 games as Anaheim posted a 3-1-0 record in San Jose.

California Titans: The Titans took a big step up in the standings with a perfect 4-0-0 record at the West Showcase.  They moved their record to 3-0-0 with a 2-0 shutout win over the Phoenix Firebirds on Saturday.  Jason Semchak made 24 saves for his second straight shutout. On Sunday, they blanked the Utah Regulators 1-0 as goaltender Brandon Brown made 23 saves. The Titans gave up a total of three goals in the four games.

Pikes Peak Miners: On Saturday, the Miners shutout the Texas Tornado 6-0 to move their record to 2-0-1 at the West Showcase.  On Sunday, they improved to 3-0-1 as they defeated Pursuit of Excellence, 5-1.  Will Matheson finished the event with 7 points and recorded at least a point in all four games. Connor Hutchins had 8 points during the event, which included a two goal performance in the final day.

Pursuit of Excellence: POE leaves San Jose with a respectable 2-2-0 record.  On Saturday, POE defeated the Utah Regulators 5-4 in a shootout.  Linden Hora scored as the 20th combined shooter to give POE the win.  On Sunday, POE fell to Pikes Peak 5-1.  Defenseman Chaz Reddekopp had four points during the event in San Jose.
