Coulee Region goalie Arvanitis makes NCAA DI commitment

March 30, 2017
The Coulee Region Chill of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that goaltender Brad Arvanitis (6’2/175) has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. UMass are members of Hockey East.

Arvanitis, 19, is in his first season in the NAHL with the Chill. The native of Holliston, Massachusetts, joined the club in late December and has posted an 8-9-0 record in 18 games played.

That also includes a 3.16 goals against average and a 91.9% save percentage.

“Our staff and organization is very excited for Brad and his commitment to UMass. He is an outstanding young man and has proven he is an elite goaltender in his time here in the Coulee Region,” said Chill head coach Ryan Egan.

“I want to thank my family, friends and all my teammates and coaches that's I've had along the way for their support. Playing at UMass will be a great opportunity and a dream come true,” said Arvanitis.
