Omaha 16U forward Renlund makes NCAA DI commitment

The Omaha AAA Hockey Club, proud members of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL), are pleased to announce that 16U forward Sam Renlund has committed to play NCAA Division I Hockey at Colorado College starting in the fall of 2019.
 
Colorado College is a member of The National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC).
 
Renlund is a native of Verona, Wisconsin and is in his second with the Omaha AAA Hockey Club. Renlund is known as strong two way forward with tremendous hockey IQ and a scoring touch.
 
So far this year, the winger is having an outstanding season and has amassed 32 goals and 60 assists for 92 points in 47 games overall for the Omaha AAA 16U Team that is ranked as one of the top teams in the country.
 
In NAPHL action this season, Renlund (5'11/190) has played in 13 games to date and recorded 33 points on 10 goals and 23 assists. He also was selected to and will play in the 2016 NAPHL 16U All-Star Game this coming Sunday, December 4th.
 
Renlund is now the 2nd member of this years 16U Omaha Team to receive an NCAA Division I Hockey Scholarship joining Coltan Wilkie (Colorado College).
