Knights 16U forward Steele makes NCAA DI commitment

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights, proud members of the NAPHL, are pleased to announce that 16U forward Sammy Steele has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey at Arizona State University.
 
The commitment is for the 2019-20 season.
 
Steele, 16, just completed his first season of playing in the NAPHL. The native of Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, played in 25 regular season games for the 16U Knights and was 2nd overall in NAPHL 16U scoring with 43 points (15 goals, 28 assists).
 
Steele (6’3/185) also appeared in 11 games with the Knights 18U NAPHL team this season. In four 16U playoff games, Steele had five points.
 
Steele was also selected to and played in the 2015-16 NAPHL 16U All-Star Game for Team Easton.
