NAPHL announces 2015-16 16U All-Star and Academic Teams

The North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) has announced All-NAPHL First, Second and Third Teams, as well as its All-Academic Team in the 16U division for the 2015-16 season. Consideration and selection is based on player performance in all NAPHL games throughout the 2015-16 season.
 
“We congratulate all those players on earning recognition for an remarkable season, both athletically and academically,” said NAPHL Director Lucas Trombetta. “Being recognized for outstanding achievement in the NAPHL is something to be very proud of because the competition level in the league is currently at an all-time high. The majority of the players honored will move onto fruitful and successful junior and college hockey careers and that is ultimately the developmental goal of the league. We also congratulate the Omaha AAA Hockey Club for winning the 16U Championship and Omaha AAA head coach David Wilkie for being named the NAPHL 16U Coach of the Year.”

To qualify for the All-NAPHL Academic Team, student-athletes must have achieved certain academic standards during the 2015-16 school year and must have been nominated by a coach.
