NAPHL halfway through first event at NAHL Showcase

16U Division
 
Arizona Bobcats: The Bobcats are 1-2 after three games with a win over Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and losses to Omaha and Meijer. Brock Sottile leads the team in scoring with four points in the first three games.
 
California Titans: The Titans are 2-1 thanks to wins over the Minnesota Magicians and the Thunder Bay Kings. Their lone loss through two days was to the Minnesota Blades. Five players are tied for the scoring lead with three points.
 
Esmark Stars: The Stars are 2-1 with wins over HC Dallas and Thunder Bay. Their lone loss was a close 3-2 decision against Compuware on Thursday. Nicolas Carretta leads the team with four points.
 
Everett Jr. Silvertips: The young Jr. Silvertips are off to a slow start with losses to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, St. Louis and Rocky Mountain. Noah Ashley and Rowan Lougheed each have two points in the first three games.
 
HC Dallas: HC Dallas is 1-2 after the first three games with losses to Esmark and the Minnesota Magicians and a win over the New York Aviators. Dustin Muriel and Thomas Demers have two goals each.
 
Madison Capitols: The Capitols have started 2-1 thanks to wins over St. Louis and Pikes Peak. Their lone loss was to New Jersey. Forward Kyle Schott is tied for 3rd in goals with four through three games.
 
Meijer: Meijer has started out 2-1 with wins over Pikes Peak and Arizona. Their lone loss was to the Chicago Mission from the HPHL. Cam Lindsay is the early scoring leader with four points.
 
New Jersey Jr. Titans: The Titans are 2-1 through the first two days with wins over San Diego and Madison. Their lone loss was a close 4-2 decision against Little Caesars. Gavin Gulash leads the 16U Division with five goals.
 
New York Aviators: The Aviators are one of four teams to start 0-3, but all the losses have been close to Rocky Mountain, Washington and HC Dallas. Brendan Callow has three goals in three games.
 
Omaha: To no ones surprise, Omaha is already at the top of the division with three wins to start 3-0. Omaha has beaten Arizona, Honeybaked and St. Louis and has three goals in three games from Austin Nault.
 
Philadelphia Little Flyers: The Little Flyers are 1-2 through the first three games win a win over the Magicians American team and losses to the other Magicians team and Wilkes-Barre. Markus Cook leads the way with three points.
 
Pikes Peak: The Miners are 1-2 after three games with a win over San Diego and close losses to Meijer and Madison. Forward Josh Perez leads the team with three goals in three games.
 
Pursuit of Excellence: POE has started 1-2 with a win over the Magicians American team and close losses to Washington and Team Illinois. Luke Harvie, Riley Smoler and Chase Sakic each have two goals through the first three games.
 
Rocky Mountain RoughRiders: The RoughRiders are in 2nd place early thanks to a 2-0-1 start with wins over New York and Everertt and a shootout loss to the Chicago Young Americans. Matthew Radzihovsky leads the way with 7 points.
 
San Diego Jr. Gulls: The Jr. Gulls are off to an 0-3 start. Losses have been to New Jersey, the Minnesota Blades and Pikes Peak. Forward Tyler Leibl leads the way with two goals.
 
St. Louis Selects: Despite being 1-2, the Selects have been competitive, which include close losses to Omaha and Madison and a win over Everett. Cole Cutler and Zach Stolz are tied for the scoring lead with three points each.
 
Thunder Bay Kings: Thunder Bay is off to an 0-3 start with losses to the Minnesota Blades, California and Esmark. Goalie Seth McKay has faced 62 shots in his first two starts.
 
Washington Little Caps: The Little Caps are in good position at 2nd place with a 2-0-1 record through three games. Wins include Pursuit of Excellence and New York and the loss was in a shootout against the Magicians. John Billingsley has five points in three games.
 
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton: The Knights are off to a 2-1 start thanks to wins over Everertt and Philadelphia.  Their lone loss was to Arizona. Adrian Danchenko has seven points in the first three games.
 
18U Division
 
Arizona Bobcats: The Bobcats are 1-2 after three games with a win over Philadelphia and losses to the Minnesota Magicians and Madison. Goalie Blake Bjella has faced 63 shots in two games
 
California Titans: The Titans are 1-2 with a win over Thunder Bay and losses to Pikes Peak and Wilkes-Barre. Forward Connor Chilton leads the way with four points in the first three games.
 
Esmark Stars: The Stars are 1-1-1 through the first three games with a win over San Diego, a shootout loss against POE and a regulation loss against New Jersey. Forwards Caleb Ernst and Ben Friedland lead the way with four points each.
 
HC Dallas: HC Dallas is off to a respectable 1-1-1 start thanks to a shutout win over Lockport, a shootout loss to Omaha and a regulation loss to Little Caesars. Goalie Hunter Smith has allowed just a single goal in two games on 59 shots.
 
Lockport Express: The Express are 0-3 after the first three games, with losses to HC Dallas, St. Louis and Pikes Peak. Forward Kyle Sroka has two points in the three losses to lead the team.
 
Madison Capitols: Madison has picked up right where they left off last year with a strong 3-0 start thanks to wins over Washington, Chicago Mission and Arizona. Goalies Joe Cambio and Burton Rehm posted shutouts in their first starts.
 
Meijer: Meijer is off to a 2-1 start with wins over San Diego and New Jersey and a close loss to Team Illinois. Forward Caleb Hite is one of the division’s early scoring leaders with five points in three games.
 
New Jersey Jr. Titans: The Jr. Titans, last year’s 18U Champions, are off to a 1-1-1 start with a win over Esmark, a shootout loss to Meijer and a regulation loss to Compuware. Forward Zach Noble has three goals in three games.
 
Omaha: Omaha is right in the mix thanks to an early 2-1 start with a shutout of St. Louis, a shootout win over HC Dallas and a loss to Honeybaked. Forward Jasper Weatherby is the early team scoring leader with three points.
 
Philadelphia Little Flyers: The Little Flyers are 1-2 through the first three games win a win over the Thunder Bay Kings and close losses to Arizona and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Defensemen David Nee and Nick Daluisio each have three points.
 
Pikes Peak: The Miners are one of three teams at 3-0 after the first three games with wins over California, Pursuit of Excellence and Lockport. Goalie Jeremy Sawyman has stopped 58 of 59 shots in two games and Ross Hanson has five goals.
 
Pursuit of Excellence: POE is 2-1 after the first three games with wins over Thunder Bay and Esmark and a close loss to Pikes Peak. Defenseman Sami Pharaon and forward Aidan Buhler are tied for the scoring lead with two points.
 
Rocky Mountain RoughRiders: The RoughRiders are off to a 2-1 start thanks to wins over the Chicago Young Americans and Wenatchee Wolves, with the lone loss to the Minnesota Magicians. Goalie Zack LaRocque has allowed just two goals in two games.
 
San Diego Jr. Gulls: San Diego is 1-2 after three games with a win over St. Louis and losses against Meijer and Esmark. Forward Joel Robling has five points in the first three games.
 
St. Louis Selects: Despite being 1-2, the Selects have been competitive, which includes a win over Lockport and losses against Omaha and San Diego. Forward Justin Meers leads the team with three points.
 
Thunder Bay Kings: The Kings are off to a 0-2-1 start, but the games have been close. They lost their first game to POE, then were shutout by California and then had a wild shootout loss against Philadelphia. Jacob Brown has five points in the first three games.
 
Washington Little Caps: The Little Caps are 0-2-1 after three games, but have not given up much, which include close regulation losses to Madison and Wenatchee and a shootout loss to the Magicians. Goalie Zach Hale has allowed just a single goal.
 
Wenatchee Wolves: The Wolves have been shutout twice, but their one win to date was a 1-0 shutout of Washington. Losses have come to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Rocky Mountain. Goalie Bronson Moore was in goal for the shutout.
 
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton: The Knights are off to a 3-0 start and have been very impressive with wins over Weantchee, Philadelphia and California. Jeremy Wilber and Joseph Campolieto are tied for the scoring lead with four points each.
