The Pikes Peak Miners' U16 team, along with the So Cal Titans' U18 team, won both the NAPHL's regular-season and playoff titles.
The Southern California Titans (U18) and the Pikes Peak Miners (U16) were crowned champions of the inaugural North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) Championship Tournament Series today (Monday, February 15) in San Jose, Calif.
The Titans bested Omaha AAA Hockey in the U18 championship game in a shootout, 5-4, and the Miners downed the Carolina Jr. Hurricanes, 5-1, in the U16 finale.
Both Southern California and Pikes Peak also won the regular-season titles in their respective divisions.
