NAHL, NAPHL alum Loggins makes NCAA DI commitment

Forward Troy Loggins, who played in the NAPHL for the Anaheim Jr. Ducks and also in the NAHL for the Wenatchee Wild, announced that he has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Northern Michigan University in the WCHA.
 
Loggins, 19, just completed his first full season playing in the NAHL for the Wenatchee Wild.  During the 2013-14 season, the native of Huntington Beach, California, led the Wild in scoring with 53 points (23 goals, 30 assists) in 60 games played. He also registered four points in 10 playoff games.
 
For his efforts, Loggins was named to the All-NAHL Rookie 2nd Team. He also was selected to play in the 2014 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament this past February for Team Midwest. In two games at the event, Loggins had two points. 
 
Prior to playing in the NAHL last season, Loggins (5’9/150) played for the Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U team during the 2012-13 season. He registered 18 points (8 goals, 10 assists) in 18 games played and also had a goal in three playoff games that season.
 
Loggins also appeared in the 2013 NAPHL Top Prospects Tournament for Team California, where he had two goals in four games.
 
This season, Loggins is scheduled to play for the Sioux City Musketeers in the USHL, who have yet to begin the 2014-15 regular season.
