January 18, 2014
The West Michigan Hounds of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) have announced that defenseman Logan DeJong-Seniff has been called up to play for the Johnstown Tomahawks this weekend in their road series in Port Huron.

DeJong-Seniff, 17, is in his second season with the Hounds program and first with the 18U team. The 6’1/165 lbs. native of Syracuse, Indiana, has played in 15 NAPHL games this season and registered three assists. Last season, DeJong-Seniff played for the West Michigan 16U team and recorded three points in 20 games played and two assists in four playoff games.

In Friday night’s game in Port Huron, DeJong-Seniff helped the Tomahaws to a 4-2 win over the 1st place Fighting Falcons.  He is expected to be in the line-up in Saturday’s game as well. DeJong-Seniff did not register a point in Friday’s game and had one shot on goal.

Through 21 games played this season, the Hounds are firmly in 5th place in the 18U Division with three games remaining in the regular season.
